Method posted on this page has not worked for me at all. Have tried 2 different SD cards. One of the 1gb SD , the other 2gb HCSD
Tried formating both on FAT16 and FAT32, and all possible combinations for shell.ini that i could think of. Still doesnt work.Anyone please let me know if you find something useful.

Apparently you're supposed to connect the T350 via activesynt to your windows and take it from there, but my device refuses USB connection, closing and re-opening the connection every 2 seconds, so it doesnt work. Only tested on windows 7 so XP users might get lucky.

Any chance you could post also the format in which the path has to be entered? any bars or special characters or just "MioAutoRun.exe" in a text file named "shell.ini" ? I am quite computer literate (Netapp storage support engineer) but this is not my field of expertise :-D

Also, what should we do with the rest of the files that come with Mio Pocket unlock? it is not clear whether we should leave them in the folder structure that comes with the zip, or copy everything as-is in the SD card....
Lets say that an explanation with a bit more depth would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance, let me know if i can help.

Hello, a instaled this on Navigon 1410, and i receive an error after the reset:
"Could not find taskbar window! " it stays about 2-3 second and after that apear main menu1
I cannot run : Calculator, XnView,GPS it's cause device to restart.

I have a 5100max. I downloaded the MN747-806 upgrade to 4310 Max for 21xx Max and 5100 Max. I followed your procedure, and it didn't work. Do I need to copy all the folders (BT, ManualReader, manuals, autorunce ...)? I copied the NAVIGON folder, adding my map and poi folders from my 5100max folder. I would appreciate it if you could tell me which files I need along with the NAVIGON folder?

I am unable to connect to my q4-05 with eastsync on xp or WMDC on win 7. Is there some sort of lock that prevents tampering. It's quite madding. I have been at this for a couple days on and off to no avail. My device was manufatured SEP 2009 and has CE 6.0 if that is any help. great tutorial by the way!
